Badong Bernal designs exhibit

CCP VP shows designs of Badong Bernal to PA Baraan.  Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) Vice President and Artistic Director Chris Millado (left) shows some of the life-sized costumes of stage actors and actresses crafted by National Artist Salvador “Badong” Bernal using indigenous materials during the opening of “Badong: Salvador Bernal Designs the Stage” exhibit at the Sison Auditorium last February 26.  On behalf of Governor Amado T. Espino, Jr., Provincial Administrator Rafael Howard F. Baraan (2^nd from left) thanked the CCP for bringing Bernal’s work of art to his hometown in Pangasinan.  The exhibit runs from February 26 to May 3.  Joining Baraan were (from right) Tourism Operations Division Chief Malu Elduayan, Special Events Chief Marife Acerit and Sangguniang Panlalawigan Secretary Verna Nava-Perez.
