SHOOTING INCIDENT

RETIRED COURT EMPLOYEE SHOT DEAD AFTER COMING OUT FROM INN


The Pangasinan Police Provincial Office on its intensified campaign to maintain peace and order yet, a shooting incident transpired infront of the gate of Domagas Compound, Brgy Dilan-Paurido, Urdaneta City at about 12:20 in the morning of August 11, 2013.

The victim identified as Renato Dela Cruz Millora, 74 yrs old, married, retired Court Employee, native of Brgy Cato, Infanta this province and presently residing at # 28 Domagas Compound, Brgy Dilan, Urdaneta City this province. Initial investigation disclosed that prior to the said incident, victim was onboard a Colt red car bearing plate number NLU-298 together with Johanna Bogabil y Bajado, 19 yrs old, single waitress, native of Block 21 16, Bernabe Compound, Pulang Lupa, Las Pinas City and presently residing at Mary Ann Canteen, Alonzo Street, Poblacion, Urdaneta City who were reportedly came from Budget Lodge Brgy Bayaoas, Urdaneta City and about to enter at said compound. As averred by Johanna Bogabil, the victim alighted from their car to open the gate when suddenly unidentified lone gunman approached the victim and fired several times with the use of Caliber .45 pistol as evidence by the recovered fired cartridge cases and fired bullet. Further investigation disclosed that victim sustained multiple gun-shot-wounds (GSW) on the different parts of his body and rushed to the Urdaneta City District Hospital, Urdaneta City but pronounced dead on arrival (DOA) by his attending physician. Joint investigation and SOCO Team of Urdaneta City and PNP Prov’l Crime Laboratory Office processed the crime scene and recovered five (5) fired cartridge cases of caliber .45 pistol and two (2) fired bullets of caliber .45 pistol. Likewise, Responding Team immediately conducted follow-up/dragnet operation for the possible arrest/identity of suspect but yielded to negative results. Possible motive of the incident as perceived by the brgy. folks is allegedly related to illegal drug transaction.

Found Dead Bodies

The Pangasinan Police Provincial Office on its continuing effort to protect life and property from the lawless elements, still two (2) male dead bodies found along the uninhabited national road at Brgy. Carayungan Sur, Umingan, Pangasinan on August 7, 2013 at about 5:30 A.M.

A concern citizen reported to Umingan PS that there were two (2) male dead bodies found along the uninhabited national road at Brgy. Carayungan Sur, Umingan this province. Upon the arrival of the PNP elements of said town at the reported place of incidence two male bodies were seen lying on the ground particularly at the shoulder road of said place with the following descriptions as follows: VICTIM -1, about 5’4 in height, medium body built, about 40 years old of age, wearing maong short pants and long slave color gray while VICTIM-2 about 5’7 in height, medium body built, about 35 years old of age, bald hear, wearing dark blue short pants, gray t-shirt with stripe black. The bodies of the victims were tied with the used of packaging tape surrounded their faces, both hands and feets with long thin metal wire and having gunshot wounds on their heads. The crime scene was processed by the personnel of SOCO Team of PNP Crime Laboratory, Urdaneta City led by PCI JESSICA RAMOS QUILANG and able to recovered ten (10) pieces of cartridge cases of cal. 45 pistol that will be subjected for Ballistic and Cross Matching examination. The cadavers were lodged at Mercado Funeral Parlor at Poblacion West of said town for proper disposition.

 Shooting Incident


The Pangasinan Police Provincial Office on its continuing effort to protect life and property from the lawless elements, yet a shooting incident transpired along Ranao Road, Poblacion, Bani, Pangasinan on August 7, 2013 at about 4:02 P.M.

Prior to the incident, elements of Bani PS received information that a shooting incident transpired along Ranao Road, Poblacion, Bani, Pangasinan and upon receipt of the report, immediately responded to the place of incident and upon arrival thereat, two male persons were seen lied down facing the said road. The two unconscious male persons were immediately transported by members of the responding team to Western Pangasinan District Hospital, Alaminos City, Pangasinan for medical treatment but were declared dead on arrival by the attending physician. Initial investigation conducted disclosed that while the two male persons who were later identified as REYNALDO DELA CRUZ Y HUMILDE, 36 years old, married and a resident of Brgy. San Simon, Bani and ELMER LIBUNAO Y NOTARTE, 46 years old, married and a resident of Sitio Abagatanen, Macaboboni, Agno both from this province were traversing the Ranao Road of said place onboard a Honda Wave motorcycle color red bearing plate number 4345 AL heading towards south direction when they were shot several times by two (2) unidentified culprits wearing helmet on board in a black motorcycle. Recovered from the crime scene were eleven (11) pieces of fired cartridge cases for cal. 40. Motive of the incident is yet to be determined.

SHOOTING INCIDENT


The Pangasinan Police Provincial Office strengthen its campaign to protect life from lawless elements, yet a shooting incident transpired at Bgry. Pugaro, Manaoag this province at about 8:13 in the evening of March 21, 2013.

A report was received by Manaoag PNP from a concerned citizen informing that a shooting incident transpired at said place hence, elements of this station led by PCI NOEL C ESPINOZA, COP were immediately responded at said place and initial investigation disclosed that the victim was identified as Peter Esteron y Bautista, 21 years old, single, jobless and a resident of Brgy. Pugaro, Manaoag this province who was walking along the said road of said place when the unidentified suspect shot the victim with the used of still unknown type of handgun. The victim sustained gunshot wound on his lower abdomen and right thigh and the suspect immediately fled away on board on his motorcycle heading to west direction. This Office is still conducting further investigation for possible identification and arrest of the suspect. Motive of the incident is still unknown.

STABBING INCIDENT


The Pangasinan Police Provincial Office strengthen its campaign to protect life from lawless elements, yet a stabbing incident transpired at Brgy. Malindong, Binmaley this province this province at about 3:50 in the morning of March 21, 2013.

The victim was identified as one Maricel Quintos y De Leon, 29 years old, married and a of said place who was stabbed by his brother-in-law a certain Joel Sandoval aka “BAY” by the used of kitchen knife. Initial investigation conducted disclosed that suspect Joel Sandoval of legal age, native of Bohol and presently residing at said place had just arrived coming from Vigan City and without apparent reason stabbed his sister-in-law hitting on her stomach and left finger. Victim was immediately rushed at Don Mariano Versoza Memorial Hospital, Lingayen this province while suspect fled after the incident and now subject for manhunt operation. Recovered at the southern shoulder shoulder of the highway the kitchen knife used measuring more or less 13 inches from tip to handle. Alleged by wife of the suspect that her husband is suffering from mental illness.

SHOOTING INCIDENT (FRUSTRATED MURDER)

The Pangasinan Police Provincial Office strengthen its campaign to protect life from lawless elements, yet a shooting incident transpired at at Sitio angalacan, Brgy. Bacnar, San Carlos City, this province at about 7:00 o’ clock in the evening of March 21, 2013.

PNP personnel of San Carlos CPS responded and investigated to a reported shooting incident that transpired at said place wherein victims were identified as spouses Marcelo Malasan y Quizon, 60 years old, farmer and Aquillina Malasan y Pidlaoan, 50 years old, both residents of the aforesaid barangay. Initial investigation disclosed that while victims were on their way home riding on a motorized animal carrier (garong) traveling at said place when they were allegedly blocked and fired upon thrice by brothers Alberto Baguio y Patino, 40 years old, married, farmer and Crisanto Baguio y Patino, 27 years old, married, former Philippine Army member and both residents of Sitio Pias, of same barangay with the used of still undetermined kind of short firearm. Suspects were positively identified by the victims when Marcelo Malasan who was then the driver lighted their faces. Suspect were apprehended after a follow-up operation was conducted by the responding PNP personnel and were subjected for paraffin testing at PNP Crime Laboratory, Lingayen, this province while victims were rushed at Virgen Milagrosa Memorial Hospital, of said city for medical treatment. Appropriate charges are being prepared for filing against the suspects.

VIOLATION OF RA 9165


The Pangasinan Police Provincial Office strengthen its campaign against illegal drugs which resulted to the arrest of two (2) suspects at the vicinity of Don Basilio Solano Sr. Rd., Lucao District, Dagupan City at about 7:00 in the evening of March 21, 2013.

That on or about 5:30 P.M. of March 21, 2013, joint elements of Alaminos City PS, PSSET, PDEA Region-1 and POSO personnel of Alaminos City, conducted operation against illegal drugs at Sitio Sto. Rosario, Brgy. Lucap, of said City, however, subjects of operation shifted the transaction to Dagupan City, therefore, at about 7:00 P.M of same date, the operating elements proceeded at Dagupan City in the vicinity of said place which resulted to the arrest of Orlando Ballesteros y Orpilla (Top 2 Priority Target List in Pangasinan) and a certain Jabbar Bandara Taher. Confiscated during the operation were the following items to wit: two(2) heat sealed transparent plastic bags containing white crystalline substance suspected to be Shabu with an approximate combined weight of ten(10) grams with street value of Php 50,000.00; One(1) folded brown paper with masking tape used as wrapper; Four(4) genuine Php 100.00 bills with serial numbers DV401993, HS852647, N405908 and K184504 all with markings ELV on its left lower portion; Four(4) bundle boodle money (cut newspaper); One(1) black Yamaha Mio motorcycle with plate number 7798ZL; and One(1) black Susuki Raider 150 without plate. Arrested suspects and the confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to PDEA Office, Dagupan City for documentation and proper disposition. A case for viol of Sec 5 and 26 of Art II, RA 9165 is now being prepared for filing against the said suspects.

Stabbing Incident


The Pangasinan Police Provincial Office on its continuous campaign against all forms of criminality resulted to the arrest of one suspect of stabbing incident at brgy Inlambo Mangaldan named ARJAY AQUINO y NARVASA, 19 yrs old and resident of same place on March 1, 2013 at about 10:30 p.m.

Telephone call received from B/Capt. Juan Garcia of Brgy. Inlambo Mangaldan this province informed that alleged stabbing incident that transpired in aforesaid place. Hence, elements of Mangaldan Police Station led by SPO3 V Abrazaldo, TL “A” , forthwith, proceeded at given place to provide police assistance and conduct initial investigation. Investigation revealed that at about 10:30 p.m. of March 1, 2013, in amusement area located in Brgy. Inlambo Mangaldan wherein 2 groups were engaged on a fist fight and subsequently, MANUEL AQUINO, legal age and resident of same place while armed with a bladed weapon allegedly stabbed one BERNARD CERA y NARAG, legal age, and residen of Brgy Lekep, Sn. Fabian, Pangasinan while the other companion of victim one JEROME GARCIA y NARAJA, legal age, and resident of Brgy. Lekep, Sn Fabian, Pang sustained injuries on different parts of his body and were brought to Region 1 Medical Center, Dagupan City for medical treatment. That Intelligence Operatives of Mangaldan PS conducted manhunt operation which resulted to the arrest of the other suspect identified as ARJAY AQUINO y NARVASA, 19 yrs old, and resident of Brgy. Inlambo Mangaldan. A Criminal case for Frustrated Homicide is being prepared against the arrested suspect for filing in court. Further, Intelligence Operatives of said station continuously conducting manhunt operation for the possible arrest of MANUEL AQUINO.

Oplan Roulette (Presidential Decree 1602).

Pangasinan Police Provincial Office- intensifies its campaign to negate illegal gambling in the province wherein joint elements of CIDG Dagupan led by PSI LOVELL U DALISAY and Dagupan City PS led by PCI JOSEPH RIZALDY DALOPE conducted operation on Oplan Roulette on February 28, 2013 at about 10:15 p.m. that resulted to the arrest of ROGER CORPUZ y MOYANO, 35 yrs old and resident of Brgy. Bari, Mangaldan; JERIC SANTIAGO y COGO, 31 yrs old and resident of Menien East, Sta Barbara; ROEL BAUTISTA y DE GUZMAN, 31 yrs old and resident of Tombor, Binmaley;NOEL LEEE y MOLANO, 43 yrs old and resident of Bonuan Gueset, RONALD GARCIA Y CRUZ, 35 yrs old and resident of Lucao District ., and SANTY CRUZ Y PADILLA, 35 yrs old and resident of Pugaro all from Dagupan City this province. Initial investigation disclosed that on the stated date, time and place, aforesaid police officer proceeded to CaranglaanDistict and conducted said operation wherein the aforementioned suspects were apprehended for having in the act of participating in the illegal activity (drop ball) as bettors/personnel and staff wherein assorted items used in the said illegal activities such as three (3) pcs of colored yellow ball; three (3) pcs of rectangular plastic basket, one (1) metal cone locally known as “tambiolo” and cash bet money amounting to P3, 026.00 were confiscated. Arrested suspects were brought to CIDG office for proper documentation as well as the confiscated gambling paraphernalias for proper disposition. Appropriate case is being readied against the said suspects for filing in court.

Arrested Wanted Persons


The Pangasinan Police Provincial Office on its intensified campaign on the arrest of wanted persons resulted to the apprehension of Three (3) wanted persons:

On March 2, 2013 at about 7 a.m. at Brgy. San Vicente, San Pedro, Laguna, PNP personnel of Lingayen Police station, Lingayen Pangasinan composed of SPO2 Mark Rivera, Warrant/ Subpoena PNCO and SPO1 Zenaida Garcia, Asst. WCPD PNCO under the direct supervision of PSUPT REYNANTE SALOM PANAY, COP in coordination with San Pedro PS, San Pedro Laguna arrested the person of NERISSA MALAGUM Y GARPO, 24 years old, with live-in partner, jobless, resident of said place by virtue of Alias Warrant of arrest duly issued by Hon. Judge Teodoro C. Fernandez of RTC Branch 38, Lingayen, Pangasinan for the crime of Estafa with recommended bailbond of Php 10,000.00. Subject person is now lodged in Lingayen PS jail pending her bailbond application.

On March 1, 2013 at about 4:20 p.m. at Wearelse establishment located at Perez Blvd.,Dagupan City, this province, PNP elements of Dagupan City Police Station led by Police Inspector ROBERTO M GULLA arrested ANTONIO JOZON SANZ ESPINO, 40 years old, married, security guard and a resident of # 359 Pantal District., Dagupan City by virtue of Warrant of Arrest dated on February 22, 2013 duly issued by Hon. Judge Caridad V. Galvez, Presiding Judge of RTC Branch 43, Dagupan City for a case of Violation of Section 5 (a) in relation to Section 6 (a) of Republic Act 9262 docketed under Criminal case number 2013-0127-D with recommended bail bond of Php 2, 000.00 for his provisional liberty. Suspect apprised of his constitutional rights after his medical check-up at Region 1 Medical Center, Dagupan City. Suspect is now temporarily lodged in Dagupan City PS jail waiting for the issuance of his commitment order to BJMP, Dagupan City for proper disposition.


On March 1, 2013 at about 7:30 p.m at Cornel Compound, Bonuan Gueset, Dagupan City this province, PNP elements of Dagupan City Police Station led by Police Inspector ROBERTO M GULLA arrested JAYVEE CORNEL Y CAYABYAB, 25 years old, single jobless, and a resident of said place by virtue of Warrant of Arrest dated on February 22, 2013 duly issued by Hon. Emma N. Torio Presiding Judge of RTC Branch 40 Dagupan City for the case of Frustrated Murder docketed under criminal case number 2013-0085-D with recommended bail bond of Php 200.000.00 for his provisional liberty. Arrested suspect apprised of his constitutional rights after his medical check-up at Region 1 Medical Center, Dagupan City. Suspect is now temporarily lodged in Dagupan City PS jail waiting for the issuance of his commitment order to BJMP, Dagupan City for proper disposition.

Stabbing Incident

The Pangasinan Police Provincial Office on its intensified campaign against criminality yet a stabbing incident transpired along Brgy. Ligue Bayambang, Pangasinan at about 10:35 P.M of February 23, 2013.

PNP elements of Bayambang City PS have responded a stabbing incident wherein the victim was identified as one ERWIN RESULTAY Y GASIDO, 19 yrs old, single, farmer, and res of said barangay while the suspect was identified as ALDRIN TANEZA Y MANANGAN, 18 yrs old, single and res of Brgy. Amanperez, Bayambang this province. Initial invest disclosed that said victim who was just then walking at the barangay road when he was treacherously stabbed twice for unknown reason  by the said suspect armed with a butterfly knife hitting the victim left shoulder. Suspect was arrested by responding elements of this office but the bladed weapon used was not recovered. However, at about February 24, 2013 at around 5:20 P.M, involved parties from the family of the victim and suspect appeared to Bayambang PS to amicably settle the said incident.

Violation of Presidential Decree 705 (Illegal Logging)

The Pangasinan Police Provincial Office on its unrelenting effort to eliminate illegal logging resulted to the flagged down of vehicle loaded with assorted lumber at Sitio Pantol Brgy. Bolo Labrador, Pangasinan on February 23, 2013 at about 4:30 in the afternoon.

PNP elements of Labrador PS together with one Brgy. Tanod Arnulfo Layago y Iglesias of Brgy. Bolo of same town while conducting illegal logging operation confiscated sawn lumber from possession, control and custody of one ERNESTO BARAGUIO Y SABANGAN, 50 yrs old, married and a res of Brgy. Gueset and LIMUEL VILLANUEVA Y LAJUT, 28 yrs old, single and res of Brgy. Magtaking both from Bugallon this province. Confiscated sawn lumber in their local names as follows: four (4) pcs. of Manggang Pau 2x4x12, two (2) pcs. of Bolawen Uyong 2x6x8 and one (1) pc of Yakal 2x6x16 with the total of sixty two board feet amounting more or less two thousand seven hundred ninety pesos (Php 2, 790.00). Said confiscated lumber was brought to Labrador PS for documentation and coordination with the DENR, Dagupan City for proper disposition.


Vehicular Accident

The Pangasinan Police Provincial Office on its continuing campaign on traffic rules and regulations and road safety advocacies, still an accident transpired along National Highway particularly at Magsaysay Ave. Brgy. Poblacion, Basista Pangasinan on February 22, 2013 at about 08:15 PM and Banaga Salasa Bridge Bugallon, Pangasinan on February 23, 2013 at around 2:30 in the afternoon and along corner of A.G Fries St., and J. Luna St., Poblacion, Basista, Pangasinan on February 24, 2013 at about 11:20 in the morning.

A vehicular incident transpired along Nat’l Highway particularly at Magsaysay Ave., Brgy. Poblacion, Basista this province wherein one southbound BLAZE 150 motorized tricycle, colored blue, bearing plate no. ZG 7615, with engine no. 162FMG8A104429, chassis no. LBLPAKLC9AO11, as V1 owned and registered under the name of Dante Sison and driven by one JOMAR FERRER Y AVELLANA, 30 yrs old, married, high school graduate and res of Brgy. Palma Basista this province accidentally collided to a northbound SYM BUNOS 110 motorcycle, colored red, bearing plate no. Z1 5451, with engine no. VMVA2H2H050759, chassis no. RLGSC10FHA050093, as V2. Investigation disclosed that V1 was then on its lane when all of a sudden V2 encroached the lane of V1, thus this collision. After the incident the occupants of V2 suddenly escaped thereby abandoning the said involved motorcycle at the place of incident. An effort to locate the true owner thereof proved futile up to this report.  No claimant of V2 appeared as of press time and no casualty reported and/or injured. Both vehicles involved are impounded to this station for proper disposition.

A motor vehicle traffic incident transpired along the Banaga-Salasa, Bridge Bugallon, Pangasinan wherein victim identified as one ROMEO DE GUZMAN Y TUAZON, 58 yrs old, married and res of Brgy. Bayabay Sobol Aguilar this province driving a motorcycle make RUSI with attached plate (For Registration), while proceeding to South direction of said place incidentally met self-accident when he lost control of its steering rod causing his motorcycle to collide to the steel barrier of the said bridge. As a result, victim sustained severe body injury that resulted to his instantaneous death. The cadaver of the victim was move to Funeraria Capital Brgy. Poblacion Bugallon this province for autopsy. Investigator on case-SP01 Leif D Soriano.

A motor vehicle traffic incident transpired along corner of A.G Fries St., and J. Luna St., Poblacion, Basista Pangasinan wherein one eastbound Honda TMX 155CC, colored red, bearing plate No. AN 5005 as V1 owned and driven by one MARIO MARTINEZ Y SABANGAN, 52 yrs old, married, no driver’s license with two (2) back riders namely: Imelda Martinez y Tamondong, 51 yrs old and Dexter Martinez y Tamondong, 21 yrs old, all res of of Brgy. Navatat of said town was accidentally bumped/hit by one northbound Toyota Innova Red, bearing plate no TOE 613 as V2 driven by one CRISANTO FRIAS Y ROSARIO, 36 yrs old, single, security guard by profession and res of Brgy.Mamariao, San Carlos City also this province, having no driver’s license. As a result, all occupants of V1 sustained injuries on different parts of their bodies and immediately rushed at Blessed Holy Trinity Hospital, San Carlos City for medical treatment while driver V2 remained unhurt. Both vehicles are impounded to Basista PS for proper disposition. Progress report will follow.

Encounter With Cattle Rustler

The Pangasinan Police Provincial Office intensifies it’s campaigned on anti-criminality which yielded to the recovery two (2) live cows were recovered as part of the loots, at Brgy. Batangcaoa, Urbiztondo, Pangasinan on February 24, 2013 at about 03:30 in the morning.

 Elements on PNP of Urbiztondo Police Station received a telephone call from Bayambang Police Station, informing that cattle rustlers from the said town were spotted proceeding towards Brgy. Batangcaoa, Urbiztondo this province. Upon receipt of the report, Urbiztondo PS formed a team and joined the elements of Bayambang PS led by PSUPT GASTON M CAFONGTAN and conducted manhunt operation. In the course of manhunt operation along the corn field of Brgy. Batangcaoa of said town, the cattle rustlers who were armed with long firearms fired towards the PNP elements thus prompted to retaliate. As a result, one of the suspects identified as REMEGIO BULATAO Y CAYAGO @ REMY, 59 yrs old, married, farmer and res of Brgy. Balite Sur, San Carlos City also this province was hit during the exchange of fire while the other suspects who are believed to be wounded managed to escape. Suspect, Remegio Bulatao was immediately rushed to Bolingit Hospital, San Carlos City for medical treatment but pronounced dead on arrival. Recovered from the crime scene were: One (1) empty shell and one (1) slug believed to be from cal. 45 pistol; one (1) deformed slug and nineteen  (19) spent shells believed to be from cal. 5.56 armalite rifle, two (2) live ammos and one (1) spent shell of shotgun; one (1) homemade shotgun and one (1) hand grenade. Likewise, one (1) lifeless cow hit during the gun fire and two (2) live cows were recovered as part of the loots. SOCO and EOD team were sought to render technical assistance.  Suspect’s cadaver is now subjected to paraffin test and autopsy while the recovered empty shells, ammunitions and shotgun are the subject of ballistic examination. Whereas, the recovered animals were placed under the custody of barangay officials of said place pending claims of the rightful owner.

 ARRESTED THIEVES.

The Pangasinan Police Provincial Office strengthened its campaign to protect life and property from lawless perpetrators specifically thieves which resulted to the arrest of suspects.

On February 24, 2013, two thieves were arrested by PNP elements of Lingayen Police Station namely: FERNANDO PARAGAS Y MANUEL, 33 yrs old, single and res of Burgos St., Poblacion and DANILO CASACLANG Y ESPINO @ TIKBOY, 18 yrs old, single and res of Brgy. Libsong East both from Lingayen, Pangasinan for stealing one (1) unit of pedicab owned by RONALDO PRADO Y SISON, 40 yrs old, married, pedicab operator and a res of Burgos St., Poblacion of said town. Initial investigation disclosed that said pedicab was left unattended in front of LBC Avenida- Rizal St., East Poblacion by Mando De Asis y Pedronia, 40 yrs old, married, pedicab driver and a res of Brgy. Asinan, Bugallon also this province who slept at Maramba Blvd, of said town. At about 10:00 PM of same date, he discovered that the pedicab he parked was already missing and was taken by the said suspects. The arrested suspects and the pedicab were brought to Lingayen PS for proper disposition.

Shooting Incident

The Pangasinan Police Provincial Office on its continuing campaign on crimes against persons, still a shooting incident transpired at Brgy Lombang, Calasiao, Pangasinan on February 23, 2013 at about 2:30 AM.

Victim, identified as one Mark Dicson Pontanes y Del Monte, 23 yrs old, single and a resident of said place, was shot by three (3) male person. Initial investigation disclosed that victim with his live-in partner together with their siblings were asleep when the suspects entered their house and shot the victim. Victim sustained multiple Gunshot wound on the different parts of his body. Recovered at the crime scene were two (2) deformed slugs that resemble like a cal 22 subject for ballistic examination. Further, victim identified as one of the assailants as Noel Lavarias @ Weng, Arturo Lavarias @ Taping, brothers, both residents of same place and John Doe. Said incident has a connection to a case in barangay wherein the victim is a witness against the identified suspects.

Shooting Incident

The Pangasinan Police Provincial Office on its continuing campaign on crimes against persons, still a shooting incident transpired at Catungal Subdivision St. Zone 1, Brgy. Camantiles, Urdaneta City, Pangasinan on February 23, 2013 at about 3:00 o’clock in the morning.

Victim, identified as one Rommel Ibarrita y Dabido, 37 yrs old, married farmer and a resident of Brgy. San Luis, Rosales, Pangasinan, was shot several times by two (2) still unidentified suspects riding in tandem with the used of cal 45 as evidence recovered on the crime scene.

Initial investigation disclosed that while the victim was driving his Sym Motorcycle bearing plate no. 8589-AP with his back rider Reuben Mayo, also resident of same place, an upon entering at said subdivision, the two unidentified suspect suddenly stop at their back and suddenly shot the victim several times resulting to his instantaneous death. Due to shock and afraid, Reuben Mayo immediately ran toward his house and save his life in danger.

Victim identified as one Arsemio Galamgam y De Guzman, 45 yrs old, married, and a resident of Brgy. San Vicente said town, and Cipriano Javillo y Hernandez, 43 yrs old, single, farmer, both residents of same place.

Initial investigation disclosed that while the victim (Arsemio Galamgam) driving a motorized tricycle Honda TMX 155, colored red, bearing Plate No. 5825 AW traversing the said road together with his companions, Arnel Galamgam y Casaclang, 12 yrs old, Guanzon Compay y Abad, 31 yrs old, and Cipriano Javillo y Hernandez (other victim), all residents of same place, when two (2) unidentified male riding in a motorcycle colored black traversing the same direction shot the victim (Arsemio) several times hitting on the different parts of his body while Cipriano Javillo who was seated on the passenger side also sustained Gunshot wound on his back. Victims immediately rushed at Don Laureano Clinic but Arsemio pronounced dead on arrival by his attending physician while Cipriano was now on stable condition. Recovered at the crime scene were 2 fired slug for cal 45 and 5 empty shells for cal 45 as evidence recovered at the crime scene.

Stabbing Incident

The Pangasinan Police Provincial Office on its continuing campaign on crimes against persons, still a stabbing incident transpired at Bgry. Pugaro, Dagupan City, Pangasinan on February 22, 2013 at about 10:30 in the evening.

Victim identified as Jeffrey Raguindin y Cornel, 31 yrs old, married and a resident of Bgry. Pugaro, Dagupan City this province. Initial investigation disclosed that the victim with his companion, a certain Francisco Dela Cruz attended the Brgy. Fiesta particularly at the residence of Brgy. Kgwd. Lito Dela Cruz wherein they are known to each other. When the victim was about to start the engine of his motorized single, when unidentified suspect without apparent reason allegedly stabbed the victim with the used of bladed weapon hitting on his left back. Suspect fled to unknown direction bringing the weapon used. Victim was rushed the nearest hospital but later expired while undergoing treatment.

On February 22, 2013 at about 9:30 in the evening, elements of Binalonan PS had arrested one Jerry Esperanza y Garicia, 55 yrs old, married and a resident of Brgy. Bugayong, Binalonan, Pangasinan by virtue of Warrant of Arrest issued by Hon Judge Harriet C Cabreros for the crime of Attempted Homicide docketed under Criminal Case No. 8115. On February 23, 2013 at about 11:30 in the morning, in Brgy.
