LINGAYEN --- Governor Amado T. Espino, Jr. ordered the suspension of classes for elementary and high school levels in all public schools in Pangasinan, tomorrow, October 11, 2013, in celebration of the Unity Games Northern Luzon Leg of the Iglesia ni Cristo (INC).

Based on the public advisory released by Provincial Administrator Rafael Howard F. Baraan, the Executive Order No. 0106-A-2013, signed by Gov. Espino, stated that classes are suspended to avoid inconvenience due to the large number of participants expected to come from all over Northern Luzon for the INC sports events here, and consequently to allow elementary and high school students belonging to the INC to join the games.

An estimate of 30,000 members of the INC from Regions I, II, III-A, III-B and the Cordillera Autonomous Regions are flocking the town to participate in various sports events.

The provincial government anticipate heavy traffic as delegates from 30 districts of the five regions will be hiring their own buses, cars and jeepneys which will traverse major routes here.

The INC’s sports activity will culminate on October 12.
