Dagupan Lass wows media in Limgas Press Presentation

Lingayen- - -Eighteen-year old Denielle Joie N. Magno of Dagupan City emerged as the Darling of the Press in this year’s Limgas na Pangasinan pageant.

The morena beauty and look-alike of Michelle Aldana (1993 Mutya ng Pilipinas and Miss Asia Pacific) stood out among 20 other lovely and charming candidates during the press presentation held April 16, at the PDRRMC conference hall here with her wit and convincing answer during the interview portion that further exudes her beauty.

Provincial Treasurer Marilou Utanes, who chairs this year’s pageant, said that the press presentation is one of the several major activities of Limgas which includes the Talent Night on April 26 at the elegant Sison Auditorium where the 21 candidates will outshine each other once again. The pageant and coronation night, on the other hand, will be on May 1, 7pm at the Capitol Plaza.

Prior to the press presentation, the 21 official candidates attended the regular flag raising ceremony followed by a brief tour at the Capitol and a courtesy call to Governor Amado T. Espino, Jr.

The 21 candidates are: Parveen P. Khan (Rosales), Sarah P. Gabrillo (Dagupan), Wendy Gayle Mendoza (Manaoag), Marian Vivian V. Clata (Mangaldan), Karel S. Mejia (San Nicolas), Joanna DR. Tiangson (Lingayen, Patricia Anne B. Tandoc (Malasiqui), Dempel Joy B. Zacariaz (San Carlos), Clarisse Isanan (Dagupan), Rosalyn E. Suratos (Mangaldan), Kimberly P. Bandarlipe (Sual), April M. Ferrer (San Carlos), Marjorie P. Paningbatan (Bautista), Denielle Joie N. Magno (Dagupan), Anna Melissa Viktoria A. Sajonas (Binmaley), Johnalyn G. Ferrer (Laoac), Jamie Lee A. Jovellanos (Anda), Aure Q. Fernandez (Dagupan), Vanessa Joy G. Paradeza (Urdaneta), Jamaica T. Colorado (Dasol), and Ronnielyn C. Amorsolo (Lingayen).

Awarding of prize for Darling of the Press will be held on the pageant night along with other minor awards to be given.
