Bb. Pilipinas – Tourism Titlist joins Limgas bets in Costume Parade on April 25 Lingayen

Binibining Pilipinas – Tourism 2014 Parul Shah will grace the pre-pageant of Limgas na Pangasinan 2014 tonigh, April 25, 7PM, at the Sison Auditorium.

The pre-pageant will feature the grand parade of (One-Town-One-Product) OTOP-inspired festival costumes and talent showdown of the candidates. The Pangasinense beauty queen from Tayug town, who will serve as chairman of the board of judges, will also join the candidates in the parade of festival costumes, donning her winning creative attire (top 3) during the Bb. Pilipinas pageant.

The provincial government led by Governor Amado T. Espino, Jr. is inviting Pangasinenses and Pistay Dayat revelers to watch the pre-pageant and witness the showcase of Pangasinan’s best products and industries via artistically-crafted festival costumes.


 “The festival costumes depict how their respective municipalities and cities uphold and promote their best products and industries, landmarks and tourist destinations,” Provincial Treasurer Marilou Utanes, Executive Chairperson of Limgas na Pangasinan 2014, said.

The talent presentations of the candidates will also showcase Limgas candidates as multi-talented Pangasinense maidens, she added. The Best in Talent will be announced after the talent showdown and will later receive the award and cash prize, along with the Best in Festival Costume and other winners of minor awards during the pageant and coronation night on April 30, 7PM, at the Capitol Plaza.

Online voting for social media popularity was also launched as an added twist for this year’s Limgas search. You can only vote once. Princess Khrista Q. Ventura (Candidate No. 2 – Limgas na Sison) is leading by a mile as of the partial and unofficial voting results as of 2PM today, April 24. Apple Joy Bacay, candidate no. 6 from Alaminos City is running second, while Mary Joy C. Veras, candidate no. 4 from Bugallon is at third place. Marienne de Guzman, candidate no. 14 from Lingayen and Mae Kathleen Salvaleon, candidate no. 1 from Tayug are on fourth and fifth spots, respectively.
